First Nations film series launch

The Library is excited to launch our new First Nations film series, a monthly program dedicated to highlighting First Nations voices through film. Showcasing a curated selection of short films, documentaries, and feature-length works by Indigenous writers and filmmakers, the series invites audiences to engage with powerful stories, and rich cultural expression.

Through these screenings, the program aims to encourage greater understanding, respect, and appreciation of First Nations cultures within our community. Each screening is an opportunity not just to watch, but to reflect on history, identity, resilience, and connection to Country.
