The Library has made it easier to do the right thing with waste. The Recycling Hub, located on Level 3 of Fisher Library, accepts a range of hard-to-recycle items that don't belong in the regular bin. This includes batteries, oral care products, empty skincare packaging, writing instruments, small e-waste, and toner and ink cartridges.
Recycling is a good start, but it's not the whole story. The process still requires energy, resources, and infrastructure — and not everything can be recycled efficiently. This guide provides practical tips on reducing and reusing across each of these waste streams.
