There are two of these 1915 first edition personal working copies of The Voyage Out known, the other having typesetter's marks and a greater number of revisions, including to other chapters, but without the chapter 25 revisions. It is thought that the Fisher Library RBSC copy was kept by Woolf as a record of the main revisions, with the other being sent for use in publication.
Woolf began further revision, with chapter 25, working with a different pen and ink colour, but these went no further and were never used. The Library’s copy was donated with the Deane family bequest.
