FSH
Fisher Library
  • The SCA campus is relocating to the Camperdown campus by 2020, which includes relocation of the SCA Library. SCA Library is now permanently closed. Physical items that form part of the SCA Collection will be unavailable from Wednesday 27 November 2019. Library users will be able to borrow these items again as they normal would from Fisher Library from Thursday 9 January 2020.

As part of this relocation, space has been made to integrate approximately 26,000 items from the visual arts collection into library locations at Camperdown.

Library staff have undertaken modelling on print collections and applied collection review guidelines in the following subject areas:

    • business (except economics)
    • science (except psychology)
    • architecture, design and planning
    • engineering
    • medicine, health and health sciences

Faculties and University Schools who have an interest in these print collections and their future locations have been contacted by the Library. These materials have been moved both within Fisher Library and SciTech Library to make room on the shelves at the right call number for the SCA materials to be interfiled or moved to other locations e.g. Storage.

You may notice large gaps in the shelves at Fisher Library. This is the result of the shuffling of collections to make room for the visual arts collections.

For more information please refer to the SCA relocation and print collection work at the Fisher and SciTech Libraries webpage.
