- Use of prohibited email address above results to author’s ineligibility under this agreement.
- Authors are eligible to publish in both Gold open access and Hybrid open access journal titles.
Eligible article types
- Fully peer-reviewed research, review, and case-study articles are eligible.
- Editorials, comments, protocols, methods, and similar materials are not eligible.

Acceptance date
Eligible articles that have an acceptance date during the term of this agreement are eligible to be published as open access.
Information on submitting articles for Open Access publishing
- Follow CSHL Press’ article submission guidelines at each journal homepage—see “Author Info” section: Genes and Development; Genome Research; RNA; and Learning and Memory.
- The author, on acceptance of their paper, is informed by the publisher of their Open Access publishing options. Author may select to publish OA at no APC charge when they submit their License to Publish form.
- Articles by authors, at participating institutions, will be published under these Creative Commons license: CC BY or CC BY-NC.
