About ULANZ membership
Current staff and students from ULANZ participating institutions are eligible for Library membership.You will be able to access Library spaces while the information desk is staffed. Please see our opening hours for more information.
Borrowing
- Borrow up to 10 items from our general collection.
- Put a hold on up to 2 items at a time.
- Short loan collection items are restricted to University students and staff.
Online resources
You can access most of our online resources through public access computers located in some libraries. Due to licensing restrictions, some items are only available for current University of Sydney students and staff. There is limited access to public computers, so availability cannot be guaranteed.
How to apply
- Complete the application form.
- Email university.cards@sydney.edu.au or visit the Student Centre with:
- your completed application form
- photo identification, such as your driver’s licence, NSW Photo Card or passport
- your online payment receipt
- a passport-size photo (if applying by email)
- a current Certificate of Enrolment or dated student card (if you are a student)
- a current payslip or online staff directory listing (if you are a staff member).
- Allow 2–3 business days processing time and a minimum of 10 business days at the start of semester.
- Membership is from 28 February each year, regardless of when you sign up.
Cost
- $50 per year for students
Payment can be made using the University's online payment portal.
