About SchoolsLink
Membership for students completing year 11 and 12 – Higher Schools Certificate. You will be able to access Library spaces while the information desk is staffed. Please see our opening hours for more information.
Borrowing
- Borrow up to 10 items from our general collection.
- Put a hold on up to 2 items at a time.
- Short loan collection items are restricted to University students and staff.
Online resources
Access most of our online resources through public access computers located in some libraries. Due to licensing restrictions, some items are only available for current University of Sydney students and staff. There is limited access to public computers, and availability cannot be guaranteed.
How to apply
- Apply for a SchoolsLink card by completing the application form.
- Email university.cards@sydney.edu.au or visit the Student Centre with:
- your completed application form
- photo identification that contains your full name and date of birth, such as your driver’s licence, NSW Photo Card, passport or school ID
- your online payment receipt, or a credit/debit card (if paying in person)
- a passport-size photo (if applying by email)
- a form signed by a parent or legal guardian (if under 18)
- Allow 2-3 business days processing time.

Cost
Membership options are:
- $25 for 6 months
- $50 for 12 months
Payment can be made using the University's online payment portal.
